Robert "Pete" Wayne Horne, 78 years old, husband of Sadie Wyatt Horne for 28 years, passed away on Friday, May 8, 2026, at Piedmont Post Acute Care in Piedmont, South Carolina after a long illness. He was born on January 23, 1948, in Cherokee County. He was an assembler with Walmart in his working years. He was a member of Orchard Street Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Sadie of Cowens, son, Michael Horne of Cannons Campground and a sister, Barbara Thrift of Cowpens.
Funeral services are pending.
