Paul W. Keeter

Paul William Keeter, 74, husband of Deborah Stephens Keeter, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, September 20, 2026 at his home.

Born January 4, 1952 in Spartanburg, he was a son of the late J.C. Keeter and Alice Arrowood Keeter. He was retired from Falon Industries, served our country in the United States Army and attended Stateline Baptist Church until his health did not allow. Paul has a passion for softball in his younger years having played during his time in service and afterwards. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and could often be found at the Hot Spot in Cowpens visiting his friends.

In addition to his wife he is survived by daughters, Sally Keeter, Angel Hayes (John); son, Joey Thompson (Pilar); sisters, June Jones (Walt), Linda Porycki; brothers, Jerry Keeter (Sheila), Robert Keeter (Paula); grandchildren, Neveah Keeter, Cara Teal (Jon), Vinsett Emanuel (Sam Vinsett), Cullen Bradley, Stephen Bradley, Danika Stinespring, Devyn Stinespring, Alivia Thompson; great-grandchildren, Teagan Thompson, Anakin Teal, and one on the way.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45 p.m. Thursday, September 24, 2026 at Harris-Nadeau Mortuary & Crematory. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Harris-Nadeau Mortuary & Crematory with Reverend Tim Hunter officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to, Speech Therapy | Shriners Children’s.
