Mervin L. Lipscomb

Mervin Lee Lipscomb, 82, husband of Freda Lipscomb passed away Friday, September 4, 2026 at Spartanburg Medical Center.

Born July 11, 1944 in Spartanburg, he was a son of the late Thomas Washington Lipscomb and Lillie Fair Sligh Lipscomb. He was retired from Lockwood Green and a member of Glendale Masonic Lodge # 271 and Whitney Masonic Lodge # 264.

Surviving in addition to his wife is his daughter, Erica Bailey (Richard), sister; Merlyn Willard and a granddaughter, Sara Shersmith.

A private graveside service with Masonic Honors will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.

Family members are at their respective homes.
