Cora Hayes “Sue” Suver, 82, passed away on September 9, 2026. She will be remembered with love by those who knew her and by the family she held close throughout her life.

Born April 29, 1944, in Shelby, Ohio, she built a career as a Chef who had the privilege of cooking for two Presidents.

Cora’s memory will be cherished by her daughter, Patricia Patterson (Kevin); sister, Judy Wellman. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Brandon Shaffer (Courtney), Jimmy Curry (Maddi), Kelsey Patterson (Matthew), and Alasia Pifher (Lee). Their lives stand as part of her lasting legacy, and her love will continue to be felt through the family who survive her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Suver; her father, Russell Hayes; her mother, Navada Eison Hayes; and her brother, Bobby Hayes Sr.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 14, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Harris - Nadeau Mortuary & Crematory. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Harris - Nadeau Mortuary & Crematory
