Margaret C. Howell, 88, widow of Edward C. Howell went home to be with the Lord Sunday, September 13, 2026 at Spartanburg Medical Center.

Born November 21, 1937 in Spartanburg, she was a daughter of the late Horace Carl Cooper and Ruth Johnson Cooper. She was a retired Supervisor with S&S Manufacturing, then retired from Chick-Fil-A in Duncan and a member of Pinewood Baptist Church.

Surviving are her sons, Kip Howell of Greer, Tim Howell of Inman; sisters, Kathy Henderson of Spartanburg, Doris Bennett of Boiling Springs; brothers, Frank Cooper of Chesnee, Broadus Cooper (Della) of Boiling Springs, Marvin Cooper (Diane) of Moore, Donald Cooper (Becky) of Chesnee; grandchildren, Wendy Howell, Brian Howell, Steven Howell and Aaron Howell.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a sister, Barbara Hayes.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 12:45 p.m. Monday, September 21, 2026 at Harris-Nadeau Mortuary & Crematory. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Harris-Nadeau Mortuary & Crematory with Rev. James Price officiating. Interment will follow in Fort Prince Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pinewood Baptist Church, 331 Dakota St, Spartanburg, SC 29303.

Family members are at their respective homes.
