Ronald "Papa Ronnie" Curtis Weeks, Sr.

Ronald Curtis “Papa Ronnie” Weeks, Sr., 81 years old, husband of Grace Seay Weeks, passed away Friday, August 28, 2026, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice House. He was born on November 4, 1944, in Spartanburg, South Carolina, to the late George Henry Weeks and the late Virginia Henderson Weeks. He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy (E-4) and thereafter was a shop supervisor employed with Mayfair Mill. He was a member of Sons of Confederate Veterans, enjoyed woodworking and playing golf as well as a car show enthusiast.

Survivors include his wife, Grace of Gaffney, sons, Ronald (Ronnie) Curtis Weeks, Jr. (Traci), Jeffrey Blackwell (Cindy), Danny Blackwell (Leah), Steve Miller (Paula), daughter, Shelly Weeks Burnett (Ron), 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Brown and Eula Holder.

Friends are invited for visitation on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, 6:00 – 8:00 pm, in the chapel of Harris-Nadeau Mortuary & Crematory. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 pm in the mortuary chapel, conducted by Danny Blackwell and Justin Blackwell.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donation be made to Spartanburg Regional Hospice House, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, SC 20303, in Mr. Ronald Curtis Weeks, Sr’s name.
