Winnie Sue Bishop Williams, 94, widow of Aubry Lee “Runt” Williams, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday June, 20, 2026 at her home.

Born October 31, 1931 in Spartanburg County, she was a daughter of the late Luther Otis Bishop and Dorothy Gardner Bishop. She was a homemaker and was a member of Buck Creek Baptist Church but later on attended Casey Creek Baptist Church.

Surviving is her son, Ronald Williams (Amy) of Mayo; grand-daughter raised in the home who she raised as a daughter, Melissa Williams-Hall of Mayo; great-grandson raised in the home, Aaron Hall (Izzy) of Mayo; great-granddaughters raised in the home, Kacee LeAnn Williams of Mayo and Taylor Vassell (Ryan); brother, Wilford Bishop; daughter-in-law, Cheryl Williams; 8 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren also raised in the home, Ava, Keaton, Maelee and Ryder.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by sons, Micheal Glen Williams, Roger Dean Williams; brothers, Wayne Bishop, Paul Bishop, Harold Bishop; sister, Agnes Bishop; grandson, Jason Christopher Williams and a step-grandson, Terry Cobb.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 12:45 p.m. Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at Harris-Nadeau Mortuary & Crematory. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Harris-Nadeau Mortuary & Crematory with Rev. Preston Edmonds and Dr. Joey Mills officiating. Burial will follow in Springhill Memorial Gardens.
