William Ray Denton, 80, husband of Carol Ann Smith Denton, passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at his home.

Born April 17, 1943 in Gaffney, SC., he was a son of the late William Denton and Virginia Mullinax Fowler and was retired from the textile industry.

Surviving in addition to his wife are his step-children; Melinda Garner of Boiling Springs, Westley Williams of Versailles, Kentucky; half-sister, Beverly Thorn of Boiling Springs and numerous step-grandchildren.
