Wayne Peeler

Wayne Peeler Chesnee, SC. Wayne Peeler, 60 years, husband of 42 years to Sharon Owens "Cookie" Peeler, passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2021, at Spartanburg Medical Center, Mary Black Campus. Wayne was born on January 21, 1960, in Spartanburg to the late James Hollis and Joann Calloway Peeler. He was a graduate of Boiling Springs High School and later received a two-year Vocational Degree. In his professional life, he was a construction Supervisor with Roebuck Builders and was a member of Lake Bowen Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to his wife is his son and daughter-in-law; Derek and Julia Peeler of Boiling Springs, brother and sister-in-law; James "Todd" and Mitzi Peeler of Boiling Springs, sister and brother-in-law; Lori and Kenneth Webb of Boiling Springs, sister; Mandi Thomas of Boiling Springs, 3 grandchildren; Caden Sydnie and Aubree Peeler. A Celebration of Life will be held at Lake Bowen Baptist Church with Pastor Brad Atkins officiating on Saturday, January 23, 2021, from 2:00 - 4:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Lake Bowen Baptist Church Building Fund, 404 Sugar Ridge Road, Inman, South Carolina, 29349, in the name of Wayne Peeler.
