Wayne McKelvey, 75, loving husband of Cathy Wood McKelvey passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at his home.

Born March 5, 1947 in Greenville County, he was a son of the late Henry J. McKelvey and Onie Shields McKelvey. He was a former employee with Spartan Printing and Paper Company and of the Baptist Faith.

Surviving in addition to his wife are his sons, Wayne McKelvey Jr. of Cowpens, Henry McKelvey of Daytona, FL., sister, Sandra Boucher of Chesnee; grandchildren, Corey McKelvey, Brittany McKelvey, Melissa Coleman (John); step-grandchildren, Josh Page, Ashley McDaniel, Kristen Page (Josh), David McKelvey and six great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Christopher McKelvey, sisters, Hilda Shields, Joyce Shields, Florey Shields, Hazel Adams and brothers, Kenneth Shields and Hugh McKelvey.

No formal services will be held at this time and the family will be at the home.
