Vilma Lucrecia Castaneda Hernandez, 61 years, passed away Friday, August 20, 2021 at Spartanburg Medical Center. She was born on September 7, 1959, in Guatemala, to the later Mateo Castaneda and Berta Hernandez Castaneda. She was a homemaker her adult life.
Vilma is survived by her mother, Berta Hernandez of New Jersey, daughter and son-in-law; Evelyn and Jorge Castillo of Chesnee, son; Julio Castillo of Spartanburg, granddaughters, Kylie Castillo and Camilla Montoya of Chesnee, grandson, James Couderc of Chesnee many sisters and brothers.
The family invites friends for visitation on Friday, August 27, 2021, from 12:00 - 12:45 pm in the Chapel of Harris-Nadeau Mortuary. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm. Entombment will be in Campo Santo La Colina, Guatemala.
