Verline Mae Blackwell, 64, widow of Vernon Blackwell passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at her home.
Born December 1, 1956 in Gaffney, she was a daughter of the late Julie Mae Owensby and of the Baptist faith.
Surviving is her daughter, Christine Cobb of Shelby, NC., sons; Lee Owens of Gaffney, Ronnie Owens of Spartanburg; sister, Jean Campbell of Gaffney; brother, Jack Rhinehart of Gaffney; grandchildren, Tim Cobb, Caleb Owens, Christopher Owens; great-grandchildren, Jaxon Cobb, Ava Cobb, Aliva Cobb, Charlcie Owens and Riley Owens
In addition to her mother and husband, she was predeceased by sisters, Susan Ray, Christine Rhinehart, Lemonda Humphries; brother, Ray Rhinehart and a grandson, Brandon Owens.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 7, 2021 at Harris-Nadeau Mortuary. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Harris-Nadeau Mortuary.
