Timothy C. Dotson Spartanburg, SC Timothy Carl “Smiley” Dotson, 48 of 1129 Beacon Light Road died Friday, November 11, 2016 at his home. Born November 17, 1967 in Spartanburg, he was a son of Ronnie Gene Dotson and Patricia Sue Glasson Dotson. He was a member of Whitney Free Will Baptist Church and worked in the grocery business all his life. Timothy enjoyed wrestling, fishing and Carolina Gamecocks football. Surviving in addition to his parents are a brother, Ronald O’Neil Dotson and wife Tessie McAbee Dotson of Spartanburg; nephew Cameron Dotson of Spartanburg and a niece, Carmen Dotson of Spartanburg. Visitation will be held Sunday, November 13, 2016 from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. with funeral services immediately following at 3:00 p.m. at Whitney Free Will Baptist Church with Pastor Chris Connor officiating.
