James T. Calicutt

James Tim Calicutt, 70, husband of 51 years to Patty Calicutt, passed away Friday, February 20, 2026, at his home.

Born December 13, 1955, in Spartanburg, he was the son of the late James Herbert Calicutt and Audrey Plumley Calicutt. He was a former carpenter, enjoyed fishing, NASCAR (Jeff Gordon), loved watching Andy Griffith and westerns and also walked the 99-mile Appalachian Trail. He was a Christian and of the Baptist Faith.

Surviving in addition to his wife are his children, James Isaiah Calicutt (Kaitlyn), Tennille Ann Seay (James Neal); brother, Ronald Calicutt; grandchildren, James Nolan Seay (Valerie), Aleena B. Manus (Kenzie), Savanah R. Calicutt (Reese), Kaylee A. Calicutt (Ben); great-grandsons, James Noah Seay and James Atlas Manus.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Roger Calicutt.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at Fort Prince Memorial Gardens with Rev. Glenn Rusher officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.

Family members are at their respective homes.
