Ronnie W. Thompson Chesnee, SC Ronnie W. Thompson, 70, husband of Rhonda Bush Thompson of 263 Gardner Road, died Thursday, August 3, 2017 at his residence. Born December 11, 1946 in Spartanburg, he was a son of the late Harley Detroy Thompson and Myrtle Gardner Thompson. Mr. Thompson was a member of the Chesnee Masonic Lodge, was retired from Hoechst and of the Baptist faith. Surviving in addition to his wife are his children, Harley Ron Thompson and wife Caroline of Richmond Hill, GA; daughter, Kim Thompson Garrison and husband Keyly of Spartanburg; step-children, Kortney Bush, Kelly McPherson, Keisha Bush; brother, Troy Thompson and wife Sara; grandchildren, Celine Nicole Thompson, Taylor Rolf Garrison; step-grandchildren, Kiersten Moore, Keeleigh Bush, Kendrick King, Kaleb Bush and a step-great-grandson, Kamden King. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 7, 2017 in the Chapel of Harris-Nadeau Mortuary with Rev. Brian Yelton officiating. Burial will follow in Springhill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. Monday, prior to the service at the mortuary. The family is at the home.
