Ronald Lynn "Ronnie" Evans, 62, husband of Barbara Stevens Evans, passed away Sunday, November 17, 2024 at his home. 

Born July 31, 1962 in Greenwood, South Carolina, he was a son of the late W.L. Evans and Elizabeth Davis Evans. 

He and Barbara were and are the proud owners and operators of Evans Tire which served the community of Mayo for three generations. Ron was a committed member of the Lions Club and a dedicated Commissioner with the Mayo Area Fire Dept. He attended Piedmont Baptist Church as well as Mayo First Baptist Church. 

Surviving in addition to his wife are daughters, Crystal Brannon of Chesnee, Corry Ann Harding (fiancé Todd Elder) of Lexington, son, Adam Harding (Jammie) of Mayo; sister, Lisa Abercrombie (Terry) of Boiling Springs NC.; brother, James Rick Evans of Mayo; grandchildren, Lilly Harding and Draven Harding.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Randy Evans.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. Thursday, November 21, 2024 at Harris-Nadeau Mortuary. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Harris-Nadeau Mortuary with Dr. Rhyan Ashcraft and Mr. Michael Blanton officiating.
