Robert Edwin “Bob” Moore Sr., 74, husband of 54 years to Linda McGuire Moore, formerly of Chesnee, passed away Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at Regional Hospice Home.

Born January 24, 1947 in Cumberland, Maryland, he was a son of the late Harry Edwin Moore and Cora Jane Sturtz Moore-Mercer. He was employed with Swift Independent Packing for 25 years and with Camco Machinery in Spartanburg for 18 years and proudly served our country in the U.S. Air Force.

Surviving in addition to his wife is his son, Robert Edwin Moore Jr. of Chesnee; daughters, Teri Brehio of Florence, Jennifer Moore (Liza Klein) of Evans, GA; brother, David Mercer (Jeri) of Youngstown, OH.; sister, Diane Bolt (Michael) of Corriagonville, Maryland; grandchildren, Hayley Cooper (Bradley) of Prince Edward Island, Canada and Cesalee Moore (Marian Brannon) of Spartanburg.

A celebration of life service will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, May 23, 2021 at Table Rock Retreat and Conference Center with Rev. Richard Hall of Eden Wesleyan Church in Chesnee and Rev. Paul Service of Pickens View Wesleyan Church in Pickens.
