Bob Corey Chesnee, SC. Robert Arthur “Bob” Corey, 80, husband of Carol Corey passed away Sunday, August 4, 2019 at his home. Born August 26, 1938 in St. Johnsbury, Vermont he was a son of the late Raymond Arthur Corey and Mirtie Gonyaw Corey. He was formerly employed as a Specialist with United Technologies, Pratt and Whitney Division, was a member of the Chesnee Planning Committee and the Zoning Board of Appeals and a United States Air Force Veteran. Surviving in addition to his wife are his children, Donald A. Corey (Susan), Alan Corey (Lisa), Paul Corey (Tracy), Michael Corey (Tammy), Robert J. Corey (Laura); sisters, Roberta McHugo, Marilyn Lanier; brothers, Ronald Corey, Phillip Corey; grandchildren, Katherine Corey, Kristopher Corey, Nicholas Corey, Serria Corey, Devon Hineline, Emily Corey and David Corey. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Thursday August 8, 2019 at Chesnee First Baptist Church. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 5:00 p.m. at the church. Memorial donations may be made to Carol Corey, 137 Eagle Ridge Drive, Chesnee, SC 29323. Harris-Nadeau Mortuary Chesnee, SC.
