Rickey Dwayne Barron, 57, passed away Thursday, December 9, 2021 at Spartanburg Medical Center, Mary Black Campus.

Born July 8, 1964 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Richard Dwayne Barron and Wilma Ann Hames Barron. He was a self-employed Mechanic and of the Baptist faith.

Surviving is his long-time companion of 21 years, Rhonda Carelock of Gaffney; son, Matthew Owens of Gaffney; daughters, Leslie Barron (Tony) of Gaffney, Brittany Coppersmith (Matt) of San Diego, California; brother, Tony Barron (Leslie) of Gaffney; sister, Beth Lytle (Dennis) of Mooresboro; niece, Breanna Lytle of Mooresboro; grandchildren, Lindsay Dills, Hayden Ledbetter (Eli), Lacey Owens, Rowan Coppersmith and Ridge Coppersmith.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at Hicks Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Buddy Robbins officiating.
