Richard Wells Buice

Richard Wells Buice, 74 years old, passed away in the early hours of Monday, August 12, 2024, at Spartanburg Medical Center after a long illness. Richard was born on December 16, 1949, in Hickory Grove, South Carolina, to the late Robert David Buice and Rose Lanier Caveny. He was educated in the local area and received his bachelor's degree in business from Limestone University in Gaffney. In his working years he was in the textile industry where he was a supervisor for several companies.

Survivors include two daughters, Brooke Buice of Spartanburg and Jennifer Smith of Columbia, brother, Robert "Donnie" Buice (Donna) of Clover, South Carolina, sister, Rosemary Buice Brumby (Sewell) of Conyers, Georgia and two grandsons, Grant and Riley Smith.

 There are no formal funeral services planned at this time.
