Randy F. Charles, 71, husband of Patricia “Patty” Arrington Charles of Chesnee, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday April 21, 2026.

Born August 23, 1954 in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of the late Robert O. and Ruby Gardner Charles. He was the owner of Charles Properties.

In addition to his wife, left to cherish fond and loving memories are a son; Clayton R. Charles, a sister, Brenda A. Graham (Gene); a brother, James E. “Jimmy” Charles all of Chesnee; grandson, Donavan Ayers of Chesnee; several nieces and nephews. Honorary grandchildren, Caden and Jack Barnette, Reid, Jude, Anna and Ava Polivka.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Robert O. Charles Jr. and stepson, Anthony Wayne “Tony” Ayers.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. Thursday, April 30, 2026 at Harris-Nadeau Mortuary and Crematory. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Harris-Nadeau Mortuary with Reverend Todd Black officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 887 Johnnie Dodds Blvd, Suite 110 Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464.
