There was no better Aunt than Polly. She was always loving and fun to be around. I know most natives of this area have had cakes and cheese straws made by Polly . I loved to see her play her music and sing, what a joyful noise she made, Polly was a true gift to many of us and will be missed

Ms. Polly and "Bub" were dear friends of my parents and were very dear to our whole family. Polly was one of best cooks, especially of great southern dishes. Like one of her famous cakes, she was sweet, and always looked good. Condolences to Polly Ann, Larry, and all her grandchildren.

I loved sweet Ms. Polly. I sang with her for years, while she sang and played that beautiful bejeweled guitar at Dollines in Clifton. I have a video of her singing a solo somewhere. She always let my grandson Noah strum the guitar and she would smile at him. I will miss her. I also remember those lovely cakes she would bake for one of the singers ' birthdays!!! Beverlie Emory

So sad to hear that Mrs. Polly has passed away. She not only made cakes for me when I was young, but also made them for my girls to enjoy. Mrs. Polly was one of the nicest ladies I have ever met. She will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with her family during this difficult time.
