Patrick Ellis Shell, 82, husband of Shirley Wyatt Shell, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, November 9, 2023 at his home.

Born June 13, 1941 in Spartanburg County, he was a son of the late Samuel Patrick Shell and Coreba Woolen Shell. He was a retired United States Navy veteran and later an Industrial Electronic Specialist.

Surviving in addition to his wife are his children, Kimberly Scott, Wendy Dillard (Stoney), Carmen Shell, Natalie Bishop, Patrick Alan Shell, Phillip Everett Shell, Raymond Ellis Shell; 13 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Sunday, November 12, 2023 at Harris-Nadeau Mortuary

Graveside services with military honors were held 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 13, 2023 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Dr. Joe Geddes officiating.
