It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our precious Mildred Jean Hardin Pritchard.
Mildred was born November 2, 1933 in Spartanburg County to the late Wilburn “W.G.” Hardin and Melvina Lawter Hardin. She was the widow of Elvert E. Pritchard. Mrs. Pritchard was formerly employed with Spartanburg Medical Center at a Heart Monitor Technician and was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Mayo.
Surviving is her son, Michael Eugene Pritchard of Mayo; her siblings, Faye Lowe of Spartanburg, Larry Hardin (Brenda) of Mayo; Dianne Hardin Bridges (David) of Fairbanks Alaska; grandchildren, Daisy Carter, Tristen Pritchard, Bryson Pritchard; great-grandchildren, Madaline Carter, Mylo Carter, Marie Carter; nieces and nephews, Wayne Lowe (Sue), Becky McKelvey (Toby), Terry Hardin (Cindy), Amanda Weeks; Cynthia Nohr and many great-nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a niece, Margaret Bridges.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. Monday, April 11, 2022 at Harris-Nadeau Mortuary. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Harris-Nadeau Mortuary with Rev. Larry Fleming and Rev. Tyler Estes officiating.
