Aiken, South Carolina
Michael Alexander Archer, 62 years old, son of Harry Smith Archer and the late Betty Jean Ingram Archer, passed away at his residence in Aiken, South Carolina, the afternoon of Friday, August, 7, 2026. Michael was born in Fayetteville, North Carolina, on August 6, 1964. He graduated from Winyah High School in Georgetown, SC, and graduated as an Occupational Therapist from the Medical University of South Carolina. After his work as an Occupational Therapist, he worked as an Office Manager for Faith Home in Greenwood, SC, and eventually founded Faith, Hope, and Love Christian Ministries in Cowpens, SC. Locally, he worked with The Courage Center where he was a Certified Peer Support Specialist.
Survivors include his father and step-mother, Harry and Betty Ann Archer of Ellijay, Georgia, and brothers, David Lee Archer (Kimberly) of Macon, Georgia, and William Creed “Bill” Archer (Glenda) of Collins, Mississippi.
Michael’s family will receive friends on Monday, August 24, 2026, from 1:00 – 1:50 pm, in the chapel of Harris-Nadeau Mortuary, 5880 Chesnee Highway, Chesnee, South Carolina, 29323. A Celebration of life will follow visitation in the mortuary chapel beginning at 2:00 pm, with Pastor Randy Oates officiating.
