Melvin Leroy Steadman

Melvin Leroy Steadman, 90 year old, passed away on Monday, January 31, 2022, at Cherokee Medical Center in Gaffney. He was born on May 24, 1931, in Spartanburg County, to the late Joe and Eva Hipp Steadman. He was a maintenance engineer with Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in his professional career.

Surviving is his daughter and son-in-law; Karen S. and David Fine of Flat Rock, North Carolina, 7 grandchildren and 12 great granchildren.

Melvin's family will receive friends on Friday, February 4, 2022, 12:00 pm, at the Garden Church of Chesnee, 1520 Highway 11 West, Chesnee. Services will beging promptly at 1:00 pm. Burial is private in Sunset Memorial Park, Spartanburg.
