Melissa Anne Moore

Melissa Anne Moore, 54 years, passed away on Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at Upstate Community Hospice House in Landrum, South Carolina, after a long illness. Melissa was born on April 12, 1967, in Spartanburg to the late Winfred Leon and Lottie Gillam Thrift. She was educated locally and in her working years was a food server last employed with Ricky's Drive-In.

Melissa is survived by her son; Tyler Craig Davis of Gaffney, long time friend and caregiver; Ricky Lawhorn of Chesnee, brother, Robert Thrift of Spartanburg and two grandchildren; Ava Davis and Landon Stepp.

At Melissa's request there are no formal funeral services.
