Max Peterson

Max Peterson Chesnee, SC Max Peterson, 81, loving husband of Beverly Elder Peterson, went home to be with the Lord, Friday, December 25, 2020 at his home. Born May 26, 1939 in Chesnee, he was a son of the late Noah Peterson and Flora Pitman Peterson. He was retired from Beverage Air, a U.S. National Guard veteran and a member of Casey Creek Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to his wife are sons, Brad Peterson of Canton, GA., Daniel Peterson of Chesnee; brother, John Peterson of Chesnee and a granddaughter, Hannah Grace Peterson. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by sisters, Ruby Towery, Betty Rogers, Juanita Martin, Ann Lawter and brothers, Ralph Peterson, Bob Peterson and Gene Peterson. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Springhill Memorial Gardens with Dr. Jerry White officiating. Due to the COVID 19 Pandemic it is requested that masks and social distancing be practiced at the service.
