Mary Sprouse

Mary Lou Sprouse, 65 years, passed away peacefully the afternoon of October 24, 2022, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice House after fighting a long battle of liver Disease.

She was born on March 23, 1957, in Anchorage, Alaska, to the late William Vance and Norma Lucille Keeter Heatherly. She was an artist and caterer in her working years.

Mary Lou is survived by her daughter and son-in-law; Rachel and Jason Bryant of Boiling Springs, sons; William J. Sprouse of Boiling Springs, James C. Sprouse of Fairview, North Carolina, brother and sister-in-law David and Rita Heatherly of Spartanburg and 6 grandchildren.

Mary Lou lived her life loving art, nature animals and music.  She made a friend anywhere she went and cherished the lifelong friends she had. Her soul is finally at peace and her memory will love on forever.

A memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 6, 2022, at Chimney Rock Baptist Church.
