Mary Burnside Salvona

Mary Burnside Salvona, 81 years, passed away the early evening hours of November 9, 2023, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice House. She was born on March 8, 1942, in Edinburgh, Scotland, to the late David Lawrence and Mary Burnside Scott. She resided in Spartanburg the past 48 years and was of the Methodist faith. In her working years, she was a special education bus driver.

Survivors include her two sons; Paul Salvona of Peabody, Massachusetts, Ian Salvona of Scotland, sisters; Andrina Finley of Naples, Florida, Alice McFarlane of Edinburgh, Scotland and her two granddaughters; Amenda Efimetz Howett (Spencer) of Spartanburg and Nicole Efimetz of Charleston, South Carolina.

There will be a private Celebration of Life to be announced.
