Mark H. Wall
Boiling Springs, SC.
Mark Hill Wall, 66, passed away on September 28, 2025, in Boiling Springs, SC. Born on September 25, 1959, in Asheville, NC, Mark was the youngest son of Vernon E. Wall Jr. and Betty F. Wall (Hill). His siblings include his brother, Vernon E. Wall III and his sister, Jean Elizabeth Inscoe.
Raised in Wilson, NC, he left to join the US Navy, graduating from the Naval Nuclear Power School (NPS). During his time at the Naval Reactors Facility in Idaho, he met Cheryl D. Wall (Fergus), Dee, and they wed on January 27, 1982. They were married until her death, October 6, 2010. He retired as a Power Plant Operator in 2024 from Chalk Point Generating Station, NRG Energy.
Mark and Dee are survived by their five children, Vernon S. Wall and Ashley (Zabriskie), Mark T. Wall “Taylor” and Erikca (Lopez-Cortez), Emily E. Wright and Mark, Rachel D. Wall, and Carson J. Wall. Mark, at the time of his passing, was blessed with 12 grandchildren, but who knows, he will probably have more.
Mark’s favorite color on any type of transportation was yellar (yellow) and orange, he loved a vintage VW Bug and was notorious for helping strangers on the side of the road. There are many things to be said about Mark Wall, but the most important is that he is loved by his children, and they will forever be grateful for the life he bestowed upon them. He left a legacy of hard work, providing, and children—for that, we are grateful.
