Margaret Susan "Sue" Rodriguez, 71 years, wife of Felipe Rodriguez, passed away Tuesday morning, June 20, 2023, at Regional Hospice House in Spartanburg. Sue was born in Spartanburg on August 16, 1951, to the late Fred Samuel and Sarah Louise Weathers Tessnear. She was educated in the local area and had been employed by Reeves Brothers 15 ears where she was a security supervisor. She was a member of Church Builders Tabernacle in Spartanburg.

Survivors include her husband, Felipe Maurine Rodriguez of Spartanburg, special nephew and wife, Eric and Karen Tessnear, numerous nieces and nephews and special friend, Debra Mitchell Martinez Carroll.

She was predeceased by her sisters, Jennie Mae Knighton and Frances (Sis) Tessnear as well as her three brothers, Bobby, Billy and Jackie Tessnear.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, 1:00 - 1:50 PM at Church Builders Tabernacle, 127 East Fremont Avenue, Spartanburg, SC, 29303. At 2:00 PM, services will be held in the church with the Reverend Jim Rutledge officiating. Inurnment will be private.
