Lola Y. Linder, 93 years, passed away on Sunday, October 31, 2021, in her Chesnee home. She was born on January 19, 1928, in Spartanburg, to the late Ben H. and Versie Scruggs Young. She was educated locally and two years of college to her credit. In her working years she was employed as a textile worker with Reeves Brothers and Montgomery.

Surviving Lola is her sister; Fannie Burgess of Chesnee and a host of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, November 5, 2021, 2:00 pm at Friends in Christ United Methodist Church Cemetery (Freedom Baptist Church) with Pastor James Lewis officiating.

In keeping with the guidelines and directives of the State of South Carolina, the family is asking for complete privacy and asks that you respect their request for no home visitation.
