Linda Diane Mahaffey, 74 years old, passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2025 in her Spartanburg home. She was born in Spartanburg on September 1, 1951, to the late William Brock and Hazel Regina Blanton Brock. She graduated from high school locally, had been employed by Tyco Electronics 20 years and was a member of Una First Freewill Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, Tony Helton (JoAnne Chavez) of Spartanburg, brother, Roger Brock (Teresa) of North Carolina, sister, Martha Jolley (Robert) of Gaffney and one grandson, Johnathan Pitts.

The family will receive friends on Friday January 2, 2026, in the chapel of Harris Nadeau Mortuary and Crematory at 12:00 – 12:50 pm. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm in the mortuary chapel with Pastor Frank Cantrell of North Spartanburg First Freewill Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Piedmont Baptist Church in Chesnee.
