Linda Susan Kneer

Linda S. Kneer, 72, of Inman, SC, formerly of East Stroudsburg, PA, passed away on October 1, 2023 with her cherished family by her side. Visitation will be on Friday, October 6, 2023 at Shook’s Cedar Grove Funeral Home, 486 Pompton Ave, Cedar Grove, NJ from 4-8 p.m. Services begin on Sat., October 7, 2023 at 9 a.m. at the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be offered at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Cross Church, Harrison, NJ, with entombment following at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Born in Jersey City, N.J., she lived in Harrison, NJ, Fair Lawn, NJ, and East Stroudsburg, PA before recently moving to Inman, SC. Prior to retiring, she was an Administrative Assistant with Hartz Mountain in Harrison, NJ for forty-five years. Those who knew Linda will remember her gentle soul, kindness, and caring ways to both animals and people. Linda never missed sending cards and wishes for birthdays, anniversaries, and special occasions. Linda enjoyed decorating for the Holidays, relaxing, and watching her favorite TV shows. Linda truly loved her animals and helped care for many over the years. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, her special friends, and her great-nieces and nephews.

Linda is predeceased by her mother, Blanche Kneer, and is survived by her siblings, James Kneer, and wife, Martha, Robert Kneer, Kevin Fay, and husband, Ron, and Marie Dyer, and husband, Robert; nieces and nephews, James Jr., Lori, Kimberly, Katarina, Robert Joseph, Jason, Jessica and Jillian; and great-nieces and great-nephews, Jonathan, Noah, Genesis, Eden, Luca, Samantha, Jacob, Nick, Savannah, Layla, James, Kyle, Danny, Jason David, Julian, Connor, Kennedy Marie, Elliott Marie, and Liam.
