My most treasured memory occurred when my late husband, Hubbard Biggs, Larson's grandfather, was holding Elizabeth and I was holding Larson when they were just weeks old. The miracle of new life! Sadly the last time I saw Larson was at his mother's visitation in February of 2017. He spoke of his dream of becoming a building contractor and I wonder what great things he could have created. A bright light has been extinguished here on earth, but ignited in heaven where he joins his mother, grandfather and other relatives who have passed. I will be praying for Larson, his son Parker, his twin sister, Elizabeth, his father, Larry, and other grieving family members. Pease and Love to all, Antoinette Biggs

We were so sorry to hear of this tragedy. Please accept our sincere condolences from the family of Robert Knox. Our thoughts and prayers are with all the family as you face the difficult days ahead. May your memories give you peace and comfort. Nellie Knox, Genia Wade and families

Liz, I've known you both since childhood. Words cannot express the sorrow of the Kingery family for you. I have memorized this Kahlil Gibran poem since high school. It may not be today, but, it will help in the future. "Never a tear bedims the eye, that time and patience, cannot dry; Never is a lip curved in pain, that cannot be kissed into a smile again." Greg

My nephew Larson and I always lived hundreds of miles apart, and our opportunities to know each other were few. But even within those limitations, I saw a kind and thoughtful person whose smile could warm a room. I send my condolences to his family, especially to his son, Parker. I am so sorry for the loss of a young man with the potential to do such good things, a man I wish I had known better. Sandy Biggs

Mike and I only knew Larson for a few years but he left a lasting impression on us. Near the same age as our own sons, "momma Jaqi" immediately took to him. Mike saw him more as a peer, but we both felt protective of him. I remember long conversations with him about his family, his childhood and growing up, his dreams, and his son. I also remember nights swimming in the pond, and paddle-boat racing at 2 am. The last time I saw him, he was sharing his dreams of becoming a GC, telling us about his college courses, and brainstorming about his future. He was an exceptional young man, full of life and vigor, dreams and ambition. I can't express how sorry I am for his family to lose their son, their brother, their nephew. I know that we only got a glimpse of Larson but am so very thankful he came into our lives. He will be missed by many. Prayers to all of his family. Mike and Jaqi Raborn, Campobello, SC

There are sooooo many memories I have with this "fabulous/fantastic" Burgess family. However, the best and craziest----difficult one was putting together Mama's "60th" birthday---- "surprise" birthday party (to say the least)!!! It seemed like forever to get it together and of course we wanted to strangle Lars (not the "BEST" party planner -HOWEVER...the "partier" YES!!!). OH how I cherish every fun/tough/sad times we all went through. Know that our prayers and LOVE are with all of you today. Dont be sad, Lars is with Mama and they are both making sure "our" seats in heaven are WELL prepared when our time comes to join them. LOVE YOU, Aunt Cyndee and Uncle Denny

So thankful your friendship allowed me to get to know Larson as well. He was such a sweet, respectful, well mannered young man who loved having fun and loved his family. I will remember first meeting him last summer after a group of you had been tubing down the river for the day and came back to our house for an evening by the fire pit and 4-wheeler riding. I will cherish you both joining me during lunch from work and the conversations we had. Prayers for all the friends and family during this difficult time.
