Kay Morrison Hines

Kay M. Hines Lake Bowen, SC. Kay Morrison Hines, wife of Lynn Hines of Lake Bowen passed away Friday, July 27, 2018 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home after a long battle with Lung Cancer. Born, August 6, 1947 in Spartanburg, SC., she was a daughter of the late Richard M. Morrison and Catherine G. Morrison. Kay was a graduate of Spartanburg High School and the University of South Carolina. She retired from The Piedmont Interstate Fair after serving 26 years as The Executive Director. In addition to her husband of 40 years, she is survived by her beloved children, Mark Hines and wife Megan of Chesnee, T.J. Hines and wife Lacy of Mayo and her adored grandchildren, Reid Hines, Elliott and J.B. Hines and Mallory Mae Hines. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Drew Morrison and Rick Morrison. The Hines family will greet relatives and friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Sunday, July 29, 2018 at Harris-Nadeau Mortuary. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 30, 2018 at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Spartanburg to remember Kay for her enjoyment of life and love for her family and friends.
