Karen Louise Gable

Karen Louise Gable, 62 years old, passed away this past Friday, August 7, 2026, in her Spartanburg home. She was born in Spartanburg on August 13, 1964, to the late Ramoth Gilead Burdette and Lois Evelyn Gregory Burdette. In her working years she was a custodian 20 years employed by Spartanburg Community College and also was a member of Gospel Light Tabernacle Church.

Survivors include her son, Jonathon Ray Gable of Spartanburg, daughter, Jessica Kay Gable (Michael Brooke Bishop-Clubb) of Woodruff, mother, Lois Evelyn Burdette of Spartanburg, brother, Ronnie Burdette of Spartanburg, sisters, Wanda Hyder, Kathy Crocker and Wendy Arledge all of Boiling Springs, South Carolina and one granddaughter, Brookesten Cherish Biship-Clubb of Woodruff.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2026, 12:00 - 12:50 pm, in the chapel of Harris-Nadeau Mortuary and Crematory. A funeral service will follow at 1:pm in the chapel. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Spartanburg.
