Joseph Vernon Smith, 70, widower of Linda Kay Smith, formerly of Lyman, passed away Sunday, October 26, 2025 at his home.

Born February 3, 1955 in Columbia, he was a son of Sarah Elizabeth Fuller Smith of Lyman and the late Bobby Joe Smith and was a former Glass Installer.

Surviving is his daughter, Tonya Wilson and husband Pete of Boiling Springs; son, Bobby Ray Smith of Lyman; sister, Linda Snider of Inman; grandchildren, Trey Wilson III, Zoey Wilson (his favorite) and Zachary Foster.

In addition to his wife and father, he was predeceased by brothers, Michael Smith and Jeffery Smith Sr.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, November 1, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the home, 349 Mason Road, Boiling Springs, SC 29316
