Joseph Fred Morris Joseph Fred (Joey) Morris, 66, of Flatwood Drive, Chesnee, saw the face of Jesus on Thursday, February 17, 2022 after an extended illness.    

Joey was the husband of his darling, Shirley Hall Morris and the son of the late Fred James and Helen White Morris.  He was a member of the 1976 class of Boiling Springs High School and a retired security officer and a member of Manna Baptist Church.

Surviving are his daughter, Ashley Morris of Anderson; sisters and brothers-in-law, Freida Morris & Ronnie Ridings of Boiling Springs and Kitty Morris & Jimmy Wall of Chesnee; nephew, Josh Ridings of Spartanburg; nieces, Heather Ridings Couch of Greenville, Kari Wall and Jessica Wall Webber of Chesnee; 3 great nephews, Harlan and Silas Couch and Simon Ridings; 5 great nieces, Katie Hays and Evie Couch, Nora Ridings and Addison & JoElla Webber.

 Joey had a great memory and loved to talk about his memories.  He enjoyed playing guitar and singing.  He was an avid fisherman.

 A graveside service will be held @ Cherokee Springs Baptist Church cemetery  @ 3:00 on Sunday, February 20, 2022 with Rev. Wayne Wall officiating.
