Mr. Johnny Alton Peterson

Johnny A. Peterson Chesnee, SC. Johnny Alton, Peterson, 75, passed away Friday, March 12, 2021 at Spartanburg Medical Center, Mary Black Campus. Born April 15, 1945 in Spartanburg, he was a son of the late Noah Peterson and Flora Pitman Peterson. He was a Driver Supervisor for 23 years with Waste Management and of the Baptist faith. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Surviving is his son, Brian Peterson and girlfriend Julie Falls of Gaffey and a granddaughter, Tinsley Peterson. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Terrence Peterson; sisters, Ruby Towery, Betty Rogers, Juanita Martin, Ann Lawter; brothers, Ralph Peterson, Bob Peterson, Gene Peterson and Max Peterson. The family will receive friends from 11:00 until 11:45 a.m. Monday, March 15, 2021 at Harris-Nadeau Mortuary.
