Joann Kimbrell Johnson, 70, widow of Wayne Johnson, passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at Regional Hospice Home.
Born June 13, 1951, she was a daughter of the late David Newman Kimbrell and Dessie Mae McAbee Kimbrell. She was a retired Custodian for Spartanburg District 2 Schools and a member of Alverson Grove Baptist Church.
Surviving is her daughter, Brenda Turner of Chesnee; son, Richard Blackwell of Blue Town, SC; sister, Eula Barker of Inman; 2 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 21, 2022 at Alverson Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Terrell Dillingham officiating.
Family members are at their respective homes.
