Jeffery Scott “J.J.” Wallace Jr., 18, passed away Friday, September 29, 2023 from injuries sustained in automobile accident.

Born March 16, 2005 in Titusville, Florida, he was the son of Nichole Hallett of Chesnee and Jeffery Scott Wallace Sr. of Florida. J.J. was a senior at Chesnee High School where he had planned to go into Law Enforcement following graduation. He was very much a prankster, always laughing and smiling and never had a bad day.  His personality was like no other, he was thoughtful, respectful and could always make you laugh.

Surviving in addition to his parents is his step-father, Paul “P.J.” Staines of Chesnee; sisters, Katelynn Garner and husband Kody of TN, Layla Staines of Chesnee, Isabelle Wallace of Fl.; brother, Paul Staines III of Chesnee; grandparents, Luanne Ray of TN, Bonnie Wallace of Fl; aunts, Tricia Hallett, April Cron; uncle, Timothy Wallace; niece, Everly Grace Garner and cousins, Nicholas Hallett, Siarra Staines, Rayna Pearson and Noah Wallace.

A Celebration of Life service will be held 12:00 p.m. Saturday, October 7, 2023 at The Bridge Church of the Carolinas, 212 North Alabama Ave. Chesnee, SC. with Rev. Buddy Robbins officiating.
