Jim Tucker

James Allen “Jim” Tucker, 75, husband of Brenda Gosnell Tucker, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, December 21, 2025.

Born September 29, 1950 in Spartanburg, he was a son of the late Bill Tucker and Ruth Barrett Newman. He was employed with Spartanburg County Parks and Recreation and attended Green Point Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to his wife is his daughter, Sonyia Moore (Chad); step-daughters, Nanda Mitchell (Jim), Traci Poore (Mike); step-sisters, Dorothy Price, Brenda Bingham; 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a daughter, Regina Thompson, sister, Peggy Boone and a brother, Wayne Tucker.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at Harris-Nadeau Mortuary & Crematory.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 24, 2025 at Green Point Baptist Church with Dr. David Lancaster officiating. Interment will follow in Good Shepherd Memorial Park.
