Jesusa Paula White

Jesusa Paula White “Susie,” beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2025, at the age of 95. Born on June 7, 1929, in Madrid, Spain, Susie brought warmth, joy, and a spirited heart to everyone who knew her.

Susie was the devoted wife of the late John White Jr. She is survived by her loving daughter, Michelle Rene; two cherished granddaughters, Brooke Powell and her husband Travis, and Taylar Duncan and her husband Chris; and four adored great-grandchildren: Parker, Avery, Madisyn, and Emmie.

She retired from the Piccadilly Cafeteria, where she was known not just for her hard work, but for the kindness and friendship she extended to coworkers and customers alike. Outside of work, Susie found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life—tending to her yard with care, sharing her love of cooking with family, and spending many lively evenings playing bingo. She was immensely proud of her family and all they had accomplished, always offering love, encouragement, and unwavering support. Her devotion was constant, and she will be remembered as the heart and soul of their lives.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, May 16, 2025, at 4:00 PM at Harris-Nadeau Mortuary in Chesnee, SC, with Richard Hall officiating. A private burial service will be held by the family at a later date.

Susie’s memory will forever be a blessing to those who were lucky enough to know her. Her legacy lives on through the generations she nurtured with love, pride, and a vibrant spirit.
