Jesse Richard "Buck" Bishop, Sr.

Jesse Richard “BUCK” Bishop, Sr., 82 years, husband of Faye Landers Bishop, passed away the evening of Thursday, December 14, 2023, at Spartanburg Medical Center. He was born on June 29, 1941, in Spartanburg, to the late Jesse Woodrow Bishop and Eulala Clara Emory Bishop. He was a trucker for 30+ years employed by A.P.C. Dearybury, and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife of 24 years, Faye of Chesnee, Son, Bucky Bishop of Chesnee, granddaughters, Jessica Bishop and Brandi Hill (Nick) and 7 great-grandchildren.

The family invites friends for visitation on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM, in the chapel of Harris-Nadeau Mortuary. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM in the chapel with Pastor Ron Culbertson of Love Springs Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be private on Wednesday Springhill Memorial Gardens, Chesnee.
