Jerry Benson Mosley, 80, husband of Joyce Hood Mosley, passed away Thursday, September 23, 2021 at his home. He was a loving father, husband and musician. His greatest joys in life was playing guitar in church and spending time with his family.

Born January 14, 1941 in Spartanburg, he was a son of the late John Arthur Mosley and Ruth Davis Mosley. He was retired from Arrow Automotive and a member of Brooklyn Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to his wife are daughters, Melody Mosley of Chesnee, Sunshine Wilson of Roebuck; son, Jason Mosley and wife Khamphou of Florida; brother, David Mosley; grandchildren, Samantha Wyatt, Jared Scruggs, Laurel Wilson, Isaac Mosley, Alice Mosley and a great-grandson, Logan Boggs.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a grandson, Benson Gay and 4 brothers.

Mr. Mosley will lie in state for family and friends to pay their respects, Thursday, September 30, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Harris-Nadeau Mortuary.

Graveside services will be 3:00 p.m. Friday, October 1, 2021 at Brooklyn Baptist Church with Rev. Clay Collins officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made the to Shriners Children’s Hospital, 950 W Faris Rd, Greenville, SC 29605.
