Jeffery Lynn Stone, 56, beloved husband of Elayne Ambroselli Stone and father of Aaron, Emily, and Alicia, passed away Friday, January 21, 2022 surrounded by his family at Spartanburg Medical Center, Mary Black Campus.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Elayne,and their children: Aaron Stone and his wife Molly, Emily Hinds and her husband Jeremiah, and Alicia Stave and her husband Michel. Jeffery also has three grandchildren: Dominic, Lola, and Jameson.

Jeffery was born December 25, 1965, in Olean, NY to the late Lynn Merle Stone and Carrie Anne Purdy Stone. One of six siblings, he is survived by his sisters Marlene Newburg, Valerie Goodliff, Lori Phearsdorf, and Cathy Stone, and his brother, Brian Stone.

Since moving to South Carolina in 2018 Jeffery has been employed at Summit Industries as a skilled machinist. He was strong, hard-working, and effortlessly thoughtful.Jeffery enjoyed spending his time fishing with his son, playing games with his grandchildren, and being the taste-tester for Elayne’s baking.

Jeffery will be remembered as a fighter, a mentor, and the blueprint for what love looks like.

All services will be private for the family.
