Janice Marie Varela

Janice Marie Varela, 75, passed away peacefully at her home in Chesnee, South Carolina on July 27, 2024. She was surrounded by love and family.

Janice was born in Los Angeles, California to Marie and Ralph Sindelar. She moved to Clifton, Arizona where she met her husband, Johnny Varela. They were married for 56 wonderful years and together raised three children.

Janice loved spending her time cooking or baking and sharing with everyone around her. Also, she loved researching family history and indexed a significant amount of historical records for others research. Service was a key part of her life and made many great friendships through it. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Days Saints.

Janice is survived by her son, Ralph Varela (Lisette) of Round Rock, Texas, daughters, Denise White of Scottsdale, Arizona, Lynda Mellor (Brett) of Chesnee, SC, 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
