James E. Steadman

James Edward Steadman, 71, passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2026 at his home.

Born March 25, 1955 in Spartanburg, he was a son of the late Bill Steadman and Pauline Arrowood Steadman and was formerly employed with AutoZone in Spartanburg.

Surviving are his brothers, Billy Joe Steadman of Chesnee, Billy Ray Smith of Cowpens and a sister, Darlene Moore of Spartanburg.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 15, 2026 at Full Salvation Church of the Living God in Clifton. A celebration of life will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the church with Rev. Rickey Pridmore officiating.

Family members are at their respective homes.
